Our Lineage

The organization of YAMDU is deeply connected to the esteemed Ejeh-Ankpa royal stool, a connection rooted in our noble heritage that confers legitimacy and a sense of identity. YAMDU was established under the guidance and blessing of the first Ejeh-Ankpa, His Royal Highness Alhaji Yakubu Adaji.

The lineage of HRH Alhaji Yakubu Adaji proudly traces back through an unbroken genealogical line to the revered founder of the Ankpa Kingdom, Ayele. This creates a robust chain, setting YAMDU within a grand historical narrative that spans from the very genesis of the Kingdom to its present-day manifestations.
