The founding pillar of YAMDU, His Royal Highness Alhaji Yakubu Adaji served as the first Ejeh-Ankpa. His visionary leadership and unwavering legacy are the bedrock upon which YAMDU stands. He welcomed the initiative of YAMDU with deep emotion and provided invaluable guidance during the organization's formative years.

HRH Alhaji (Col) Hassan Yakubu Psc, Fss, Dss, Mni
Chairman, Ankpa Traditional Council
A combatant military leader, strategic administrator, and compassionate traditional ruler, His Royal Highness Late Rtd. Col. Hassan Yakubu served as the Second Ejeh-Ankpa. Born to the royal family of the first Ejeh, he achieved a distinguished career in the Nigerian Army Armoured Corps, public administration, and enterprise before ascending the royal throne of his ancestors.

HRH Alhaji Ahmadu Yakubu MFR
Chairman, Ankpa Traditional Council
Descendant of the royal Atiyele Oma'Idoko dynasty, His Royal Highness Late Alhaji Ahmadu Yakubu Adaji (MFR) served as Ejeh-Ankpa III for over two decades. Following a distinguished corporate career with the Central Bank of Nigeria, Bagauda Textile Mills, and the Dantata Group, his reign was celebrated for promoting peace, preserving Igala cultural heritage, and driving community progress.

Chairman, Ankpa Traditional Council
The current Ejeh-Ankpa and Grand Patron of YAMDU, His Royal Highness Alhaji Abubakar Ahmed Yakubu continues the noble legacy established by his predecessors. Installed as Ejeh-Ankpa IV, his leadership ensures the continuity of royal traditions while guiding YAMDU toward a prosperous future.
